All road bikers are encouraged to try mountain biking for at least one of the days (rental bikes available at reasonable rates) because this is THE PERFECT place to learn how to mountain bike. Easy and fun trails abound. Coaching included in trip price. (That would be me)

Members with cars may be eligible for discounted trip fee. Email mcgillcycling@gmail.com for more info.

Put me down for road and mountain!

Do we leave on Saturday morning or Friday night?

For now, I’m in…

so in!

woo hoo. ben there should be a mountain AND road category.

guess i gotta find my passport…

I will assume that ALL roadies are mountain AND road, unless otherwise noted. And then I will hassle you. So note with caution.

Umm. Well I’m an undecided roadie on that point, ben. Papa wheeler will be coming on sunday for trail building and then leading a (road) ride. He’s excited in his own way.

i’m only doing road. consider this my note.

allison, you of all people should at least try mountain. I know for a fact you came last year and didn’t come mtbiking with us. You can find good roads anywhere, but you can’t find trails like this just any old place.

Look at this, public hassling. I warned you.

still waiting for that american visa to arrive
:frowning:

I really liked my intro to mountain bike last time we went to Ben’s house. I’m in for this trip. I’ll probably split my weekend one day on the road and the other one in the mountains.

i know, i deserve the public harassment, this much is clear. but why the “me of all people”? if anything, the midwest has taught me how deprived i am of actual topography and the beautiful vegetation and such (i had to drive down to southern illinois to watch my sister play in state championship badminton this summer, it’s utter hell, no visual cues, just flat cornfields everywhere. matoon, il is somewhere that should never be visited.) if anything, what me of all people should know is that road biking of this quality on hills and scenery is hard to come by and i should take advantage of it when i can.

take that, ben! but i shall consider your point.

…im going to have to go with allison on this one…do I get public harassment as well?..I’d just like to spend 2 solid days on the roads of vermont…is that really such a crime?
haha

KINGDOM TRAILS is the best place ever! For mountain bike…of course! Everyone should come with us to PARADISE!

I agree with Jack. It really is an opportunity not to be missed. I will end my public harrassment with that. (although the private harrassment never stops).

Note: this whole “I have a car” thing is pretty tentative, but it’s a possibility.

Also, I couldn’t sign up for any other column but I’m definitely mountain biking!

I can put 3 bikes on my roof and 1 in the trunk, while seating 4 people (5 if we squish)

I’ll be riding MTB!

Everyone should do at least 1 day of mountain biking there - its a crying shame not to at least try trail riding.

Just in case you haven’t noticed, the numbers have been capped at 30 PEOPLE. This is to preserve my mother’s sanity, mainly, however I think the numbers should even out to about that anyways.
