Ben: Is there a place to rent a mountain bike?

Hey Peter, you can rent mountain bikes from East Burke Sports or whatever the bike shop just across the road is called. If i remember right, it was 20$ for an afternoon for a trek 6500 (midrange hardtail). They have nicer bikes too, but I guess they’d be more expensive.
*EDIT, its 30$ a day, and it’s a trek 6000.

i think this is a sign from god that i need to stay home and study for my 2 midterms next week. I’M SO UPSET. i wish i could come and mountain bike sooo badly. and i REALLY wanted to see Mose.

sweet so I reserved a hardtail mountain bike for Sunday afternoon after the trailbuilding. 1st time mountain biking since 2001 I guess. Pretty stoked!

i have a mountain bike here i’m not using much. It isn’t anything fancy, but it is a mtn bike nonetheless. Anyone want to borrow it?

preperations are nearly complete. If you have extra foamies or dirty blankets/rags to help pack bikes, bring those too. Bungee cords are also always handy. don’t forget a little towel for your post-ride 3 minute shower.
Should we bring a pillow? And Ben, you never got back to me about the whole your parents/winter squash thing…
