Wheel Sponsorship Order Pt. 2

hey Team,

Just thought I’d throw it out there that since we are making frequent trips to the US, if there is anyone who would be interested in ordering some wheels from Neuvation.

You can see them at www.neuvationcycling.com. I am getting updated prices so keep posted, but if you’re interested, post here.

-Mike

Ok, I have prices. Take a look at the website and tell me what you want to know the price of and i’ll email you.

He can also do Powertap wheels if you want, and beleive me, the prices are amazing with the Powertaps…

-Mike

Will it still be possible to order some during the summer if we have access to an American address?

Yes, but he may want you/us to make a minimum order.

I will probably order a Powertap wheel in the Summer, so im sure we would be fine…

-Mike

buying them will depend on many factors, but I’m definitely interested

how much the R28 Aero3 this year?

200 bones…

or, with Powertap, $1120. Although, it might be lower, I am still waiting to confirm…

hi Mike,

the price we’re paying is the one on the website or the one posted by Peter?
(are the C38 1200 or 800?) if it’s the latter, I’m definitely interested!!!

C38’s are $865 for the set, tubular, or $900 for clinchers.

or $1630 for powertap set (including front wheel)

i presume you’re getting the powertap?

For those curious, the C38 and C48 (numbers represent rim profile) are made my Zipp (thus, very light and good quality).

The C50 is made by the same company that makes HED and the Bontrager carbon wheels done overseas. So, they are somewhat heavier (250 gr. approx.), but MUCH stronger than the C38 and C48.

Additionally, the C38 and C48 are $270 more than the C50s, so it works out about $1 per gram, which is the norm is seems).

C50 Tubulars $590 for the set - 1430gr (they are coming in lighter than claimed on website

C38/C48 are $870 for the set - 1190 gr (slightly heavier than claimed on website)

**add $100 to the cost if you want the ceramic bearings, which save a little weight and increasing rolling time.

If you want to get into a sweet pair of carbon tubulars, this is the way to go. I am going to order a set of the C50s, Mat’s ordering C38 it looks like. We need one more person on board.

-Mike

So, if you want to get into a good carbon tubular that’s incredibly stiff and strong and could stand up to everyday use, go with the C50.

If you want a race only wheel that’s lighter, a little less stable and not as strong, go with the C38 or C48.

-Mike

I gotr the C50s and they are a great deal in my opinion. I’ve only really ridden them around the house at this point (winter!!) but they seem quite stiff, even for someone who is 6’3"

Mike, you’re making me hesitate between the C38 and C50. We’ll talk about it tonight at Benelux.

ok, we’ll talk… we can discuss it.
