Where to Buy Tubes and Tires Online?

Title of the post pretty much says it all…I’m tired of having to go to the shop every time I run low on these…

Does anyone have any recommendations for buying fresh (not second hand) tubes and tires online? (i.e. bulk order at a discounted price?). Can anyone recommend a few good brands?

Thanks,

Dhruv

I suggest not riding on nails.

If this is unavoidable sites such as:

wiggle and chainreactioncycle are pretty great

i’m a fan of pro bike kit.

check all websites, scout out sales, find lowest price, be aware that shipping to canada may or may not incur taxes and duty (which is roll of the dice depending on merchant/shipping company)

websites include
chainreactioncycle
wiggle
probikekit
competitivecyclist (usually expensive)
bikenashbar

sign up for newletters from all these websites (+whoever else) since they usually send emails with +xx% discount

every once in a while i’ll get a “pls come bak” email from probikekit for 15% off whatever

also ebay can be good too if you’re patient

Thanks for the input.

This probably deserves another forum thread…

Does anyone know where to buy good quality bib shorts online? My McGill kits got ripped on a ride when I sat down on the side of the road and two of my other bibs got torn up in the wash (before y’all jump on me I don’t wash my bike clothes on any setting higher than “regular”)

Dhruv, when you wash your kit do you use a garment bag?

^That sort of genius-yet-obvious pre-emptive solution didn’t occur to me for the past 1.5 years…

Add Total Cycling to the list of reasonably priced websites.

I’ve yet to find a good site for decent tubes though. The Toronto Bike Shows (both Fall and Winter) seem to be the best I’ve found. I believe the same guy shows up and sells them for $2.50 each.
