I’m looking to upgrade my garmin to something that can give heart rate and power information. Anyone have one to sell? Here’s an excuse for you to upgrade yours, too!
After some research, apparently the Edge 520 (or higher) is what I’m looking for.
Edge 500 works fine too just minus the wifi, but has a unique con among garmins in that you need a special OTG cable if you want to roll with a powerpack…
and can also only have 4 ANT+ connections at a time, so no HR+speed+cadence+power because power is also bundled with cadence 
^^ Will buy your old Edge 500 so you don’t need to deal with all those previously mentioned issues.
