I’ll be at the base of the mountain around 6:30 for xc skiing ~1-1.5 hours.
The more the merrier.

I don’t ski but I heard during the first semester while at the mcgill gym that there is a map that contains all Cross country skiing and running trails in the Montreal area. I can’t off the top of my head remember where it is in the gym but If you ask somebody could probably point it out to you.
Tommy, I know you just got back from Australia, so it looks like there’s lots of snow, but there ain’t. :(( It’s all melted. There are no open xc ski centers open anywhere near Montreal, and Mt-Royal is the one place which needs the best conditions because it isn’t groomed nearly as much as the real centers…

Actually it looks like the light snow we’ve had this week has made it possible for some place to reopen. Oka currently has 17km/37km open. I’ve just found this site which has trail conditions for sepaq parcs. Boucherville has reopened too.

I was thinking of going on Monday - does anyone know where I can get a map of the trails? or where they all are? thanks!
for future reference, where are the lions? I only know the big statue where the tams take place.
In terms of location, the lions are the same thing as the statue. They just surround it.
Also, I’ve just recovered from a crappy head cold and I’d like to do some skiing tomorrow! I’m thinking of going at 11am for 1.5-2 hours if anyone wants to join!
I’ll join you
At the lions?
Sounds good! See you there at 11a!
