Hope you’re excited because MCT Fall rides are back! Sunday the 12th marks the first weekend group ride of the year. We will ride 60km out and back on the Voie Maritime Seaway (the bike path in the middle of the river). Social Pace - everyone welcome!
Meeting place: Roddick Gates in front of McGill Campus at 10 am.
Remember to bring all of the riding essentials (helmet, bike, saddle bag, food and water).
Not only is this our first ride of the year, but there is also a good cause attached to it! We will also be riding to raise awareness for those living with special needs during this year’s Y-Cycle.
Normally, the Y-Cycle is a organized group ride, but seeing as how this year is still a little… different, we can raise some awareness (and hopefully a little money) in our own MCT bubble.
The Y Cycle for Special Needs is an important event for two reasons. It raises awareness of this often misunderstood population, and it contributes much needed funds that are used to support new and ongoing recreational programs for those with mental or physical disabilities. You can bring cash donations to the ride and McGill Cycling will donate what we raise on your behalf to the Y-Cycle. Let’s show everyone why we are the best club in town while doing some good on our ride!
Sign up below if you plan on coming ! Can’t wait.
