Bike Movie Premiere! Nov. 7th

Hey everybody, it’s that time of year again, the time for a bike movie premiere! For those of you who have never been to one of these, they are a TON of fun, there are LOTS of prizes, ($3000 worth, in fact) and the movies are absolutely RIDICULOUS. This month Eastside Freeride is helping put on the Montreal premiere for New World Disorder 9: Never Enough.

Friday, November 7th, Doors at 7:30.
cost: $10, this includes a night of mindblowing mountain bike movies AND entry into the raffle for all kinds of stuff. Sometimes they even raffle off a bike frame! beer is cheap, too, two for $6.

also, we are working on getting some kind of deal for girls, as well, like girls get one free beer or something like that. So all you hardcore girls, come out and party like a pro! (pro downhiller, that is)

Location: La Cage aux Sports @ the Bell Center
La Cage aux Sports is located at 1212 de la Gauchetiere West, accessible from metro Lucien L’Allier or Bonaventure
Doors at 7:30, starting with a local film, followed by another major production, and then NWD 9 will go on around 9:30.

If you don’t believe me, just watch the trailer. It speaks for itself.

I would love to come to this but we might be out of town that weekend. If we’re here, hells yes I’ll be there!

prizes! i’m in. does that mean les is in kingston too?

if Chris is away I probably will be too

guys, you should just postpone your trip for a week. what’s so special about kingston anyways? It will be there the next weekend too!

haha, we’re not going to Kingston. But Kingston is a pretty special place Ben, I mean who doesn’t love a town with its own Prison Museum?

Ben, if you or your friend needs volunteers again, I don’t mind helping out.

hey yeah, I might need some volunteers! and volunteers get in for free… But they might not be eligible for the raffle. I’ll keep you posted on that.

might be down, as long as I don’t work
I’ll check to see if my shop is going down there or something

looks sick

yeah anton, actually could I meet you at school sometime this week and give you a poster for your shop? Are you gonna see any of these guys in time for them to put up a poster? Give me a text if yes.
If not, dont worry bout it

Hey Ben, I’m working, but if you give me a poster i can put it up at work. Perhaps tomorrow? I’m around school from 11:30 to 4:00.

poster? yeah, I can do that, anywhere u want?

So you mean pick up the poster from me tomorrow? (thurs) or pick it up today and put it in the bike shop tomorrow?
If today, I can meet you at 4 at the entrance to schulich library.

that post wasnt intended for me, was it, ben?

no lam, I don’t need you to do anything. just come on nov 7th.

yeah, thursday, same time same place? Deal? Anyone else who works at a bike shop feel free to come pick up a poster. Or anyone who has a good spot that they want to stick one. I have 5 left.

i’ll be there.
