Plyometrics/Circuit Training

So my being sick turns out to be much more serious… acute pancreatitis, I therefore cannot have fatty foods or workout (at all ever) for the next 3 to 4 weeks. I will continue to come to the plyoworkouts and lead coach style so that others may be more awesome while I wither away.

I will be there on Friday and promise that the workouts will have specific goals and carefully laid time frames since I won’t be able to gauge the intensity by my own legs.

Hope people come.

Thanks to my best friend Ben, I will not be going up or down any stairs wednesday or thursday or friday morning.
so much for a “relaxed work-out” for my first return to sports since Octobre HA HA HA
i’ll be back on friday more though
thanks again Ben, loved it during, hated you for it when i walked down the University hill ha ha ha

Adam! you had best feel better soon!

I will see if I can make it in time- I have to head home and will maybe run to warm up…

crap that sucks adam…get better…

A sad scheduling anouncement. Friday Feb 12th is going to be a 9:30 - 10:30 pm “angry” workout. That is, I’ll be in a bad mood after taking a three hour statistical thermodynamics midterm and we will be fitting 3 hours of plyo into about 55 minutes. Its not good to do regularly, but like a 185 km ride, you’ve got to do one every now and then.

I will be back to top form by then, (getting doctor permission in 45 minutes). Be ready to bang.

Adam.

P.S. I’m not in a bad mood for tonight so keep smiling.

I’m taking requests for workout style on Tuesday Feb 2nd. I need an infusion of new ideas for the training process.

More instability stuff! More abs/core.

Anybody coming on Tuesday: Prepare to wobble (and squat and stuff… boxes)

Did Boltzmann kick your ass? :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey everybody, I just got the internet working, There will be no Plyo until March 2. There will be none on March 5th since we will be on our way to Rutgers. The next will be March 9th.

Recap:

February 23 - NO
February 26 - NO
March 2nd - YES
March 5th - NO
March 9th - YES

I am adjusting the calendar now. Please don’t be sad, you can still workout on your own.

not sure how many people are coming but I’ll be there tonight to do something or other. Gotta get in a little upper body to stop the withering away of my arms.

hey adam, what’s you cell number? (if you have one?)
than i can just call you instead of constantly looking on the forum to see if the workouts are on or not! thanks!

So here it is. There will be one session of plyo every week on Friday.

March 19,
March 26,
April 2,

From 7 pm to 9 pm. Everybody who has been coming has realized that we are all about the same level of fitness now and have been pretty much running a single workout that lasts about 2 hours. If you have never come before, its never too late, and I’ll always make sure you feel comfortable with the excercises and intensity.

Bonus: There will be freight train style upper body from 6 until 7 before each of these workouts.

Thanks

Boush

Sorry but my cell phone is still from Idaho with a contract type thing and would be expensive for everybody invovled.

I am at the gym right now. I apparently did not correct the calendar properly, I meant for there to be a workout today (march 12th) So I’m going to keeep at it myself. This weekend I’m going to look over what I need to do in terms of work and training for the three weekends of racing and post a new schedule, here and on the calendar.

Hope everybody is switching over to more bike work as I am. We want to represent as well as we did at Rutgers a month from now.

Hoorah.

I am very sorry to all of the people who want to get big. There is the movie premiere that I am bouncing at tonight. I will be showing up for a few moments to explain the workout, I’m very sorry. Here it is:

warmup
7 minute death sets x ? (however you all feel)
big box jumps, long rest, as high as possible, keep raising the height and max it out
pyramid the leg press.

Very sorry about that folks. Wish I understood calendars better.
